FSSC 22000 Approved
Relianz Foods received its FSSC 22000 accreditation in January 2023. FSSC 22000 provides a certification scheme that ensures a robust food safety management system to control food safety hazards, minimize risks, and ensure safe food production. Reliability in delivering safe food contributes to consumer trust and, eventually, consumer loyalty.
FSSC 22000 has been delivering an impact on global food safety for over 12 years. The Scheme provides a certification model that can be used in the whole food supply chain to ensure food safety standards and processes. FSSC 22000 is GFSI recognized. Relainz Foods was Audited by QScert which is an FSSC 22000 Certified auditing company.
FSSC 22000 uses the international standard ISO 22000 for food safety management with PAS 221 as the prerequisite program for retail and wholesale and additional certification requirements. This combination ensures consistent, high-quality audits monitored by an integrity program to measure and maintain delivery performance all over the world. Besides the global character, FSSC 22000 is applicable within the whole supply chain.
Vetted Suppliers
All Relianz suppliers go through a stringent vetting process which consists of the following:
Due Diligence: Check credit reports, online reviews and news reports. Does the supplier have a clean reputation, a strong balance sheet and ample cash flow?
Safety & Integrity: Ask to see the company’s safety record. Are there procedures in place that reflect a management team concerned for the safety of their workforce and the approach they will take in handling your products? Are there written policies that reflect the integrity they expect from employees and management?
Quality: Does the potential supplier keep quality and reliability metrics that they will share and discuss?
Ability to Communicate: Is this a team that shares information freely—and will keep you in the loop no matter what? You can only determine so much by telephone or video conference.
